One Down, Seven To Go

Quarters, I mean. I have completed my first quarter as a full-time student, single mother, underachieving overachiever. I made it out with a 3.1 GPA, which is stellar compared to what I went in with. I've had a rocky intellectual past. Whatever. Don't judge me. I am making up for it now. I sit in the front row. I take 8 AM classes. I record lectures. I am studious. I am scholarly. And I am so glad this quarter is over.

Now I am on Thanksgiving break. I am looking forward to crafting. Breaking out the sewing machine and really rebelling against society and imposed gender roles. Just kidding. I'm just trying to make the perfect diaper bag, okay? I found this really great tutorial and pattern online. I'll get you a link (I'm generous that way).

That's my life. School. Diaper bags. And lactating. I forgot to mention that part. Lactating in a school that is non-trad unfriendly is difficult at best. I really enjoy talking about breastfeeding. So stay tuned for all these Supermom Adventures. You might learn a thing or two- like how to look cool with spinach puree on your jeans.
